Play and experiment with art techniques; process thoughts and feelings; document your life! Art journals are visual poetry, combining images and words to express a thought, feeling, or idea, manifesting into your own personal journey of creative expressionism.

We'll explore the concepts of poetic erasure and amplification In this workshop, as well as how to be loose and just enjoy being in the creative moment.

In honor of Earth Day, you'll have an opportunity to explore the barn's five acres to gather found objects to incorporate in your journal-making. (Or select from our pre-harvested finds!)

A plethora of other art supplies will be available as well. No artistic ability is required. If you have a book you'd like to work with, please bring it with you. Otherwise, you may select from our stash.
