About the Authors
Lissa Kiernan’s second full-length poetry collection, The Whispering Wall, won Homebound Publications Poetry Prize and was a semi-finalist for the Tupelo Press Dorset Prize. Her previous books are Glass Needles & Goose Quills, winner of the Nautilus Gold for lyric prose, and Two Faint Lines in the Violet, finalist for the Julie Suk Award. She founded and directs The Poetry Barn, a pollinator habitat for poetry, and AIM Higher, a nonprofit organization dedicated to elevating women artists. She volunteers with Phoenicia’s Flying Cat Music concert series, and lives in West Hurley with her husband Chris Abramides.
Ana C. H. Silva lives in NYC and the Catskills. Her poems live in various print and online journals—Podium, Rogue Agent, and The Mom Egg Review, among others. She won the inaugural Rachel Wetzsteon Memorial Poetry Prize at the 92nd St. Y Unterberg Poetry Center. Her chapbooks are One Cupped Hand Above the Other, with Dancing Girl Press, and While Mercury Fish, with Finishing Line Press.
