Join us for the Catskill Interpretive Center's third annual festival celebrating reading and writing in the Catskills! Meet acclaimed authors and see what's new from local small presses; enjoy panels and presentations on the past, present and future of Catskills lit, and engage with local libraries, art and literacy groups to try your hand at creative writing, illustration, and bookmaking.

Poetry Barn will offer a haiku workshop and have haiku "templates" at our table. Stop by to pick one up to take with you on a hike, pick up a free copy of The Writers Chronicle, barn swag, and more!

Other event highlights will include master storyteller Jonathan Kruk, celebrating the 200th anniversary of the writing of Rip van Winkle with a live performance of the classic tale; readings from Writers in the Mountains and Post Traumatic Press; Tiny Bookmaking and Tandem Typewriter Poetry with the Creativity Caravan, story recording sessions and silhouette portraits with Catskill Waters, and a lunchtime Catskills Tunes & Tales performance by Laura & Ira McIntosh with Henry Hermann on fiddle.

Have a picnic or grab a bite to eat at the on-site food truck. Enjoy the CIC's new covered pavilion. Bring your family and friends!
