About Jeanne Nametz & Steve Stanne

Jeanne Nametz, Sean Nos singer

Jeanne Nametz

Jeanne Nametz's voice has been described as deeply moving and powerful. A regular at Irish sessions in the Hudson Valley, Jeanne brings ancient Gaelic songs to life, invoking the power of reclamation as this ancient music animates a lineage that was lost. Much of her music is inspired by exploring the sacred sites of Ireland. To listen to her music: https://jeannenametz.bandcamp.com/album/we-owe-the-grave-many-a-day

Steve Stanne brings a vast Celtic and folk repertoire and Irish tunings to his guitar playing. He is part of Betty & the Boomers who play regionally and regularly at the Clifden Community Arts Festival in Connemara, Ireland. Steve is also a regular at the Irish session at Garvan's in New Paltz.
